Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Blow Moulding Technician to operate, set up, monitor, and troubleshoot blow moulding machines used in plastic production. T
• he ideal candidate must possess hands-on experience operating hydraulic blow moulding or blow extrusion machines in a plastic manufacturing company, with a strong understanding of machine settings, mould installation, production processes, and technical fault diagnosis.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor blow moulding machines to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient production.
• Set up machines and adjust operating parameters, including temperature, pressure, cycle time, and other relevant production settings.
• Carry out machine start-up, shutdown, mould changeovers, and routine operational inspections.
• Monitor the production process to ensure that finished products meet approved specifications, dimensions, weight, and quality standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot machine faults, production irregularities, and product defects, implementing appropriate corrective measures.
• Ensure proper installation, alignment, and functioning of moulds and related machine components.
• Monitor raw material consumption and minimize material waste, rejects, and production losses.
• Perform routine machine cleaning, inspection, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance.
• Work closely with the Maintenance and Quality Control teams to resolve technical issues and improve product quality.
• Maintain accurate records of production output, machine downtime, rejected products, and operational challenges.
• Report major machine faults, recurring technical problems, and maintenance requirements promptly.
• Ensure compliance with machine safety procedures, operational guidelines, and company policies.
• Recommend improvements to machine performance, production efficiency, and product consistency.
• Support production planning and ensure that assigned production targets are achieved within the required timelines.

Requirements

• Technical certificate, OND, or relevant vocational training in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field is an advantage.
• Proven hands-on experience as a Blow Moulding Technician in a plastic manufacturing company is mandatory.
• Practical experience operating hydraulic blow moulding or blow extrusion machines.
• Sound knowledge of machine setup, temperature and pressure adjustments, mould installation, and process control.
• Ability to identify and correct common machine faults and production defects.
• Basic knowledge of preventive maintenance, equipment inspection, and workplace safety.
• Ability to interpret production instructions and maintain accurate operational records.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet production targets, and maintain consistent product quality.
• Good communication skills, discipline, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work shifts when required.
