Job Title: Experienced Accountant

Location: Fegge, Onitsha – Anambra

Role Summary

• The Accountant will oversee all financial activities of the company, ensuring accurate reporting, inventory accountability, compliance with tax regulations, and efficient financial management within an import/export trading environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage inventory accounting and stock reconciliation (very critical for trading operations)
• Oversee import/export financial documentation and cost tracking
• Handle tax compliance (VAT, PAYE, Company Income Tax, etc.)
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting
• Reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Implement and monitor internal financial controls
• Provide financial insights to management for business decisions
• Ensure strict confidentiality of company financial information

Candidate Criteria

• Ready to grow long-term with the company

Requirements:

• B.Sc or HND in Accounting
• Must be an experienced Accountant (ICAN/ACCA certified)
• 2–3 years post-qualification experience
• Strong accounting background in a trading company preferred
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office tools
• Strong inventory management experience
• Computer literate and tech-savvy
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy level
• Calm, proactive, and able to work under pressure
• High integrity and confidentiality.

Salary
N200,000 monthly.
