Job Title: Environmental Research Officer / Project Coordinator

Location: Ajah, Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking an organized and science-minded Environmental Research Officer to coordinate environmental projects from inception to completion.
• The ideal candidate will lead field surveys, manage small teams, analyze data, and prepare technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate environmental projects (EIA/IEE, monitoring, surveys)
• Plan and conduct fieldwork and sampling
• Analyze data and prepare technical reports
• Liaise with clients and regulatory bodies
• Manage project budgets and schedules

Requirements

• BSc (minimum) in Environmental Science or related field (Masters preferred)
• 3+ years practical experience in environmental fieldwork or consultancy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis
• Good communication skills and ability to work flexible hours

Desirable:

• Experience with GIS and statistical packages
• Team management and project logistics experience
• Relevant certifications (HSE, sampling techniques.
