Job Description

• We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled teachers to join our team for the upcoming academic year.
• We have openings for teachers specializing in English, Igbo, or both.
• The ideal candidates will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting the academic and cultural development of our students.
• The role requires effective communication with parents and students to ensure a cohesive educational experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to the curriculum for English and/or Igbo.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Foster a love for language, literature, and cultural heritage among students.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school activities.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, English, Igbo, or a related field.
• Teaching certification/licensure.
• Experience teaching English or Igbo at the secondary school level.
• Proficiency in the language(s) of instruction.
