Job Title: Engineering Intern / Engineer-in-Training (EIT)

Location: Iyana Ipaja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Position Summary

• The Engineering Intern supports the structural engineering team in preparing calculations, drawings, and technical documentation under the supervision of licensed engineers.
• This role is intended to provide early-career engineers with exposure to real-world engineering design, construction practices, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with structural calculations and basic engineering analysis.
• Prepare drawings and details using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Support preparation of delegated engineering calculation packages.
• Review vendor drawings and equipment submittals.
• Assist with quantity takeoffs and preliminary load calculations.
• Support project documentation, drawing organization, and engineering files.
• Participate in site visits and field observations when required.
• Assist with responding to RFIs and coordination questions from project teams.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or currently pursuing).
• Strong understanding of structural engineering fundamentals.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or Revit.
• Basic proficiency in Excel or engineering calculation tools.
