Job Title: Electrical Support officer

Location: Mainland and its environs – Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

• You will support the installation, wiring, testing, and routine maintenance of electrical, renewable energy, energy storage and systems. Your core goal is to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient electrical operations across board.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation: Setting up energy storage and solutions based on instructions and procedure
• Wiring & Cabling: Perform cable pulling, routing, tray installation, and precise cable terminations as per technical standards.
• Testing & Inspection: Use digital multimeters, clamp meters among others to evaluate and record parameters.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose system errors, replace faulty components, and perform scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Safety Compliance: Follow health and safety guidelines, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and adhere to local electrical codes.
• Documentation: Keep clear records of daily maintenance logs, testing results, and system commissioning reports.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: B.Tech/HND/OND in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology
• Experience: 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in electrical installations, solar PV and backup power systems. Special preference will be given to Candidates with hands on experience working with Lithium batteries at cell level.
• Technical Skills:
  • Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Good knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems and power electronics.
  • Ability to read blueprints, use power tools, and understand electrical theory
  • Experience working on Lithium storage solutions at cell level and a fast learner in the field.
• Soft Skills & Physical Requirements: Strong problem-solving abilities, physical fitness and good attention to detail.
