We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Specialist, Plastics

Location: Delta

Job purpose

• This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and ensuring the efficient operation of electrical components of production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, control systems, and lighting installations.
• Diagnose electrical faults and equipment malfunctions using appropriate testing and diagnostic tools.
• Read, interpret, and work from electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Safely shut down machines by strictly following approved switch off and lockout procedures.
• Ensure machines are properly cleaned after operations, including the toggle base platform.
• Inspect hydraulic hoses, joints, and fittings to identify and address leakages.
• Monitor machinery for lubrication oil leaks and report or correct issues promptly.
• Ensure barrel heaters and related components are functioning correctly and efficiently.
• Adhere to all safety, quality, and maintenance standards within the work environment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• 1 – 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Ability to use Microsoft Suites – excel, words and power point
• Good communication oral/written and report writing skills.
