Job Summary

• Apple and Pears Limited, a manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical & Electronics Engineer to manage, maintain, and optimize electrical and electronic systems within our food manufacturing facility.
• The successful candidate will ensure reliable operation of production and packaging equipment while minimizing downtime through effective troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

Job Description / Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems on production and packaging machinery
• Diagnose and repair faults on control panels, motors, sensors, drives, PLCs, and automation systems
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for electrical and electronic equipment
• Support installation, commissioning, and modification of production machines
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company SOPs
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation
• Collaborate with mechanical and production teams to improve equipment efficiency
• Supervise and provide technical guidance to technicians when required

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of HND/BSc in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in an Electrical & Electronics Engineer role within the FMCG or food manufacturing industry
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, automation, and control
• Hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and industrial instrumentation
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Good communication, leadership, and documentation skills

Residency Requirement:

• Candidates must reside in Sagamu, Ogun State, or nearby environs.

Salary
N200,000 – N250,000 Monthly (Depending on Experience)
