Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled Electrical Automation Engineer to oversee and optimize the electrical and automation systems within our steel manufacturing plant.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving automation systems tied to key production equipment.
• This role is critical to minimizing downtime, improving production efficiency, and ensuring plant safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Automation & Control Systems
• Electrical Maintenance
• Maintain transformers, switchgear, and Motor Control Centers (MCC).
• Oversee Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and large industrial motor systems.
• Ensure proper operation of plant-wide power distribution systems.
• Diagnose electrical faults and implement corrective actions.
• Equipment Support: Support automation systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Minimum of a HND graduate.
• 2-4 years experience in industrial automation or manufacturing environment is
• Must be skilled in the knowledge of electric motors and electrical components of machinery operating in steel companies i.e. furnace transformers, step down transformers etc
• Be willing to join factory workers in the absence of problems with machinery.

Salary
N200,000 / month.
