Job Title: Electric Technician / Facility Maintenance Assistant

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full‑time / Technical Support

Role Summary

• Carry out electrical maintenance and facility management tasks to ensure hospital systems and infrastructure remain safe, reliable, and fully operational.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on lighting, sockets, distribution boards, and small equipment.
• Handle installation and testing of electrical fixtures and minor plant.
• Support emergency call‑outs and ensure safe isolation and tagging procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of work done and parts used.
• Follow hospital safety procedures and report hazards promptly.
• Contribute to general facility management and maintenance duties across the hospital.

Qualifications & Skills

• HND / OND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or SSE (Senior Secondary Education) with recognized technical apprenticeship or trade certificate.
• Technical skills: wiring, fault diagnosis, basic motor and control knowledge, safe use of hand tools and test instruments.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in electrical maintenance with proven experience in facility management and maintenance. Healthcare setting experience is an advantage.
• Other: Good communication, punctuality, and ability to work shifts when required.
