Job Title: Editorial Intern

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

• Assist in writing, proofreading, and editing articles, carousel posts, newsletters, and other content.
• Research and develop content ideas based on trending topics, audience interests and editorial preferences.
• Conduct thorough research to verify facts, sources, and references in articles.
• Assist in compiling data, statistics, and background information for content pieces.
• Work closely with editors, reporters, and social media teams to support content production.

Requirements

• Ability to write clear, engaging, and well-structured content across different topics.
• Strong grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills.
• Comfortable writing about a wide range of subjects, from business and lifestyle to tech and culture.
• Ability to quickly learn and adjust to different writing styles and tones.
• Open-minded and eager to tackle new topics outside of their comfort zone.
• Willingness to take feedback and refine content accordingly.
