Job Title: E-Commerce Coordinator

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: Ecommerce Manager, Digital Marketing Manager, or Operations Manager
Resumption: Immediately

Job Description

  • Coordinate and support the day-to-day operations of the ecommerce platform, ensuring seamless online shopping experiences for customers.

Key Responsibilities
Product Management:

  • Product listing and catalog management
  • Product description writing and optimization
  • Product image management and optimization
  • Product pricing and inventory management.

Order Management:

  • Process and fulfill online orders
  • Manage order status updates and communication
  • Coordinate with logistics and shipping teams
  • Resolve order-related issues.

Content Management:

  • Create and update ecommerce content (product descriptions, category pages, blog posts)
  • Manage and optimize product categories and tags
  • Ensure content consistency across all online channels.

Customer Service:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues
  • Provide product information and recommendations.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Monitor ecommerce metrics (sales, conversions, traffic)
  • Analyze sales trends and customer behavior
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improvement.

Technical Tasks:

  • Manage ecommerce platform updates and maintenance
  • Troubleshoot technical issues
  • Integrate third-party services (payment gateways, shippingl providers).

Collaboration:

  • Work with marketing team to develop promotional campaigns
  • Coordinate with inventory management team to ensure accurate stock levels
  • Collaborate with customer service team to resolve issues.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 1 – 3 years of ecommerce experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient in ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce)
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (desirable)
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Certifications:

  • Google Analytics certification
  • Ecommerce certification (e.g., Shopify, Magento)
  • Digital marketing certification (e.g., HubSpot, Facebook).
