Job Title: Driver

Location: GRA-Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary

• A Driver is employed to drive the Hotel’s vehicle, deliver or collect goods or mailings.
• Drivers must be able to endure long hours driving, carry out vehicle maintenance checks, and interact with clients in a professional manner.
• They should also practice safety and health regulations to protect themselves and other people on the road.

Key Job Roles

• Transporting guests from one place to the other (e.g., from airports to hotels and vice versa).
• Carrying out vehicle maintenance checks and ensuring that vehicles have sufficient gas and are always ready for use.
• Delivering packages to customers in a timely manner.
• Picking up office purchases or handling other administrative transportation needs.
• Utilizing navigation apps to find the most optimal route.
• Arranging for vehicle repairs when necessary.
• Updating monthly mileage records.
• Interacting with guests in a professional manner.
• Maintaining an organized travel schedule.
• Working at night and on weekends as required.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience as a Driver with a valid driver’s license.
• Must have passed all Lagos State drivers’ tests and possess a clean driving record.
• Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50).
• Minimum 5 years
• Candidates living within Ikeja have an advantage
• Familiarity with GPS devices and strong knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods.
• Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy packages and luggage.
• Availability to occasionally take weekend and night shifts.
• Core Attributes: Professionalism, dependability, stress tolerance, verbal communication, excellent customer service, and a polite, calm disposition in traffic.
