TAAS College, Ibadan is a Co-educational institution established in the Islamic tradition at KM 15, Abeokuta Road, Amunigun Village, Bode Igbo, Ibadan. The Nursery and primary school was upgraded to a secondary school by the governing council as a result of a remarkable acceptance by the Muslim Community and within a short period of existence. Job Title: Driver

Location: Apata – Ibadan, Oyo

Job Description

• We are seeking a reliable and experienced driver to join our organization.
• The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of driving experience, be between the ages of 35 and 58, and possess a valid Nigerian driver’s license.
• The driver must be highly familiar with Nigerian road networks and have experience in long-distance driving across multiple states in Nigeria. Routine maintenance knowledge and a strong sense of responsibility are key.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company-assigned vehicles (buses and cars) for official assignments.
• Ensure timely and professional transportation of staff, goods, or students (if applicable).
• Perform daily routine checks on vehicle condition including oil, brakes, tyres, water, battery, etc.
• Keep vehicle clean, fueled, and ready for use at all times.
• Monitor vehicle servicing schedule and report any faults or repairs needed.
• Maintain accurate logbooks of journeys and fuel usage.
• Adhere strictly to traffic rules and safety regulations.
• Drive across various Nigerian states when required, maintaining alertness and caution throughout.
• Provide support during loading and unloading where necessary.
• Report all accidents, incidents, or violations promptly to the supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ verifiable driving experience.
• Must possess a valid Nigerian driver’s license.
• Must be between 35 and 58 years of age.
• Proven experience in interstate driving and knowledge of major Nigerian roads.
• Ability to carry out routine vehicle checks and basic maintenance.
• Sound knowledge of road safety regulations and defensive driving techniques.
• Trustworthy, physically fit, punctual, and respectful.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
• Must reside within Ibadan.

Salary
N45,000 – N60,000 monthly.
