Job Title: Driver

Job Summary

• The Driver is responsible for transporting staff, goods, or materials safely and efficiently to designated locations. The role requires maintaining the vehicle in good condition, following traffic laws, and ensuring timely delivery and pickup.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport staff, clients, or goods to assigned destinations.
• Ensure the vehicle is always clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks (fuel, oil, brakes, tires, lights, etc.).
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Plan routes to ensure timely arrival at destinations.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
• Report any accidents, vehicle issues, or delays promptly to the supervisor.
• Assist with loading and unloading of items when necessary.
• Ensure all vehicle documents (insurance, license, registration) are valid and up to date.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Proven experience as a driver.
• Good knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations.
• Ability to follow schedules and instructions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and able to lift items if required.
• Clean driving record.
