Job Title: Driver

Job Summary

• We are hiring a responsible and experienced Driver to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety-conscious, and familiar with the road network within and around the city.
• This role involves transporting company staff and products safely and efficiently, while maintaining a professional demeanor and a well-kept vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport company personnel and goods to designated locations.
• Plan travel routes to avoid traffic delays and road construction.
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and perform basic preventive maintenance.
• Ensure the company vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained at all times.
• Accurately log daily trips, fuel consumption, kilometers driven, and work/rest periods.
• Keep records of toll payments and fuel receipts.
• Follow all traffic regulations and company driving policies.
• Collect, verify, and follow through on delivery or travel instructions.
• Report any accidents, damages, or vehicle-related issues promptly to management.
• Other Duties as assigned.

Requirements and Experience

• Minimum of First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC).
• At least 3 years of driving experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Clean driving record with no recent traffic violations.
• Familiarity with Abuja road networks and major routes is a must.
• Valid Nigerian driving license.
• Must be currently residing in Abuja.
• Ability to drive long hours and occasionally travel outside the city when needed.
• Sound judgment and ability to handle unexpected situations, such as traffic congestion or adverse weather.
• Must be willing to undergo background and drug checks.
• Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and professionalism.
• Ability to provide reliable references or employment recommendations.
