Job Title: Drilling Project OI Advisor III

Location: Akwa Ibom

Job Description

  • We are seeking an experienced Drilling Project OI Advisor III to provide Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) leadership and support for drilling operations, ensuring compliance, operational integrity, and a strong safety culture across offshore and onshore projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the Company on all SSHE matters across drilling projects, rig sites, rig moves, and transport operations.
  • Develop and implement SSHE programs, induction processes, emergency response plans, and safety initiatives.
  • Monitor contractor compliance with Company SSHE standards and conduct Operational Integrity (OI) compliance audits.
  • Lead safety inspections, training, incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Review contractor SSHE plans, monitor safety performance, and address non-conformances.
  • Facilitate Drill Team SSHE meetings, identify safety trends, and implement proactive improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct rig inspections and support safe drilling operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of drilling operations, SSHE regulations, and offshore/onshore environments.
  • Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to influence teams, work independently, and manage changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Fluent in English with a high level of professional integrity.
  • Physically fit to work in remote offshore/onshore environments and perform site-based activities.
