Job Title: Dispatch Rider

Locations: Abuja, Lagos, and Rivers
Job Type: Full Time

Job Summary

• The Dispatch Rider is responsible for the timely, safe, and efficient pickup and delivery of parcels, documents, and other items to customers.
• The role requires strict adherence to traffic laws, company policies, and service delivery standards to ensure excellent customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver parcels to customers within assigned routes and timelines.
• Verify delivery details, obtain necessary signatures, and update delivery status in the system.
• Ensure parcels are handled carefully to prevent damage or loss.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, payments (where applicable), and route logs.
• Collect payments for Cash-on-Delivery (COD) shipments when required and remit appropriately.
• Conduct daily checks on assigned motorcycle (fuel level, brakes, tyres, lights, etc.).
• Report accidents, breakdowns, or delays promptly to the supervisor.
• Comply with road safety regulations and company safety standards at all times.
• Maintain professional conduct and provide excellent customer service during deliveries.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Candidates should possess an SSCE / High School Certificate with 1–2 years’ experience as a dispatch rider (preferably in a logistics company).
• Valid Rider’s Permit and driver’s license.
• Good knowledge of local routes and road networks.
• Ability to use delivery apps or handheld devices.
• Physically fit and able to work under pressure.
• Strong integrity and accountability (especially when handling payments).
