We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Dispatch Rider

Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Delivery Operations: Safely and efficiently deliver packages, documents, and other items to customers and designated locations within Surulere and surrounding areas.
• Route Planning: Plan and select efficient delivery routes to minimize travel time and ensure prompt deliveries.
• Package Handling: Handle all packages and items with care to prevent damage, loss, or misplacement during transit.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries and obtain proof of delivery where required.
• Customer Service: Interact with customers in a polite, professional, and courteous manner while representing the company.
• Motorcycle Maintenance: Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance of the delivery motorcycle to ensure it remains in good working condition.
• Compliance with Traffic Laws: Strictly observe all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies while riding.
• Communication: Maintain regular communication with the Dispatch/Operations Team and promptly report delivery updates, delays, incidents, or other challenges.
• Safety: Adhere to all company safety procedures and ensure the safe transportation of goods at all times.
• Problem Solving: Resolve delivery-related challenges promptly and escalate issues requiring further attention to the appropriate supervisor.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of SSCE or equivalent educational qualification.
• Valid Motorcycle/Rider’s Licence and all necessary riding documents.
• Proven experience as a Dispatch Rider or in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of Lagos roads and major routes, particularly within Surulere and surrounding areas.
• Ability to use GPS, Google Maps, or other navigation tools effectively.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and also function effectively as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to meet the demands of the role.
• Clean and responsible riding record.
• Must demonstrate reliability, punctuality, honesty, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Salary
N100,000 – N120,000 monthly.
