Job Title: Dispatch Manager – Logistics B2B

Location: Nigeria

Purpose

• ​To oversee and manage dispatch operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods. Coordinate logistics, optimize processes, and maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards while improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

The Job

• Supervise and coordinate daily dispatch operations to ensure on-time delivery.
•  Monitor vehicle movements and optimize routing for efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.
• Manage dispatch personnel, providing training and performance evaluation.
• Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and supply chain teams to streamline dispatch activities.
• Analyze dispatch data and generate reports for performance improvement.
• Resolve delivery issues, delays, and customer complaints promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch transactions, vehicle logs, and fuel usage.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives in dispatch operations.
• Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of the fleet to minimize downtime.

Requirements
Qualification:

• B.Sc. in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in logistics, dispatch, or supply chain operations preferably in the FMCG, transport industry or manufacturing sector.
• Certification in Logistics, Transport Management or Supply Chain is a requirement.
• Fleet Management or Transport Operations Certification is an added advantage

The Person Must:

• Possess strong leadership and team management skills.
• Have excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Be proficient in logistics and dispatch management software.
• Possess analytical skills for route optimization and cost control.
• Have ability to handle pressure and resolve operational challenges.
