We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Director of Business Development, OS

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business development strategies that align with the overall mission and objectives of the company
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats, providing insights that inform strategic decision-making
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities that diversify the company’s portfolio and increase revenue streams.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with partners and clients to ensure mutual benefit and alignment with company goals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop outreach campaigns that promote the company’s services, capabilities, and success stories.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and expectations.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape, providing recommendations for adaptation and growth
  • Analyze sales data and performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of business development efforts and adjust strategies accordingly.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field; Master’s degree is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategy management within the events or hospitality sectors.
  • Proven track record in successfully leading business initiatives that drive revenue growth and enhance market position.
  • Leadership acumen, with experience in managing and developing teams toward achieving strategic goals.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and business intelligence tools skills as well as focused and results-driven.
