We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Delivery Officer

Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport products to customers at scheduled times.
• Plan delivery routes to optimize time and fuel efficiency.
• Verify orders before delivery and ensure products are handled with care.
• Obtain customer signatures and confirm delivery completion.
• Provide friendly and professional interaction with customers during deliveries.
• Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary.
• Collect payments (if required) and provide receipts.
• Assist in loading and unloading products for delivery.
• Keep accurate delivery logs, including delivery times, addresses, and any incidents.
• Report any delivery challenges, damaged goods, or vehicle maintenance issues to the Operations Manager.
• Ensure adherence to traffic regulations and company policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and routine checks of the delivery vehicle (if assigned).
• Follow safety procedures for handling products during transit.

Requirements

• OND or higher qualification is an advantage.
• Previous experience as a delivery officer, dispatch rider, or similar role.
• Valid driver’s license (car/motorcycle) and good driving record.
• Familiarity with Lagos routes and traffic patterns.
• Strong time management and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy packages.
