• We’re seeking a talented Data Analytics and Visualization Instructor (Full-Time) to join our growing team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of data-savvy professionals. You’ll be responsible for designing and delivering engaging data analytics and visualization courses, equipping students with the essential skills and knowledge to navigate the ever-evolving world of data.

Scope of Work

• The scope of work encompasses delivering assigned courses, crafting engaging materials, facilitating assessments, providing feedback, offering student support, and contributing to program and curriculum development, all while adhering to professionalism, data privacy, and intellectual property standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and create comprehensive learning materials, including lectures, design exercises, tutorials, and assessments, that align with assigned lesson plans and course objectives.
• Deliver data analytics and visualization courses as scheduled, adhering to the outlined syllabus and ensuring all topics are covered comprehensively.
• Demonstrate excellent presentation and communication skills, engaging students effectively and fostering a positive learning environment.
• Possess prior experience in teaching or training, enabling effective delivery of complex subject matter and catering to diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate closely with staff and colleagues, sharing knowledge and resources to enhance the quality of instruction and improve student outcomes.
• Assess student learning using various assessment methods such as assignments, quizzes, and exams, while providing timely and actionable feedback.
• Be accessible to students during designated office hours or by appointment, offering guidance and support throughout their learning journey.

Who you are (Requirements)

• 3+ years of professional experience in data analytics and visualization.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Possess prior experience in teaching or training, enabling effective delivery of complex subject matter and catering to diverse learning needs.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, including Python, R, SQL, data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas), and visualization libraries (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for data storage and analysis is a plus.
• Strong understanding of data analysis methodologies and best practices.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills. Ability to effectively deliver complex subject matter to diverse learners.
• Experience with developing and implementing various assessment methods (assignments, quizzes, exams) and providing constructive feedback.
• Strong organizational abilities with a focus on prioritization, meeting deadlines, and maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
• Collaborative spirit and ability to work effectively with colleagues and students to achieve common goals.
