Job Title: Data Analyst

Location: Abuja (with occasional travel to project states)
Job Type: Full-time (6 months renewable contract)

About the Role

• A reputable AgriTech company is recruiting a highly skilled Data Analyst to support our Agri-Credit Scheme.
• The Data Analyst will play a critical role in managing, analyzing, and reporting project data across the entire value chain, from farmer onboarding to insurance claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and validate large datasets on farmer profiles, farm sizes, GPS locations, and input disbursement.
• Develop dashboards to track project implementation and performance (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Analyze satellite/GIS data to support farm mapping and cluster development.
• Monitor input distribution and loan recovery patterns.
• Collaborate with field agents to verify data accuracy and flag inconsistencies.
• Support insurance claim assessments with yield modeling and climatic data interpretation.
• Present regular reports and insights to internal and external stakeholders (banks, insurers, regulators).

Qualifying Requirements

• Proven experience (2+ years) in data analysis, preferably in agriculture, finance, or insurance projects.
• Strong Excel, SQL, and data visualization skills (Power BI/Tableau).
• Experience with GIS software (QGIS, ArcGIS, or similar) is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with field data collection tools like KoboToolbox, ODK, or Survey123.
• Critical thinker with attention to detail and a high level of integrity.
