Job Title: Data Analysis Tutor

Role Overview

• We are looking for a passionate and experienced Data Analysis Tutor to join our team onsite in Ibadan.
• As a Tutor, you will deliver engaging and practical lessons in data analysis tools and techniques to students ranging from beginners to intermediate level.
• This is a part-time role, ideal for professionals who enjoy teaching and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Teach data analysis concepts, techniques, and tools to students through one-on-one sessions, group classes, or online platforms.
• Guide students through practical applications of data analysis, including data cleaning, statistical analysis, data visualization, and interpretation of results.
• Create and adapt instructional materials, including lesson plans, exercises, and assessments, to meet the needs of students.
• Instruct students on key data analysis tools and software, including Microsoft Excel, SQL, R, Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, and Seaborn), Tableau, and additional relevant tools as needed.
• Evaluate students’ progress through assignments, quizzes, and projects, providing constructive feedback and recommendations for improvement.
• Address students’ questions and challenges, offering solutions and strategies to overcome obstacles.
• Complete any necessary administrative tasks related to teaching, such as maintaining student records, reporting progress, and coordinating with educational institutions if required.

Requirements

• Proven experience in data analysis.
• Strong command of the following tools/languages: Excel, SQL, Power BI, Python.
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about teaching and mentoring others.
• Must reside in Ibadan or be able to commute to our onsite location.
