Job Description

• We are seeking a Customer Service Representative (Field Operations) to support customer acquisition, account servicing, transaction-related activities, and customer engagement within assigned locations.
• The successful candidate will represent the bank professionally, resolve customer inquiries, promote relevant banking products, and ensure excellent customer experience while adhering to operational and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with existing and prospective customers within assigned field locations.
• Provide accurate information on the bank’s products, services, account requirements, and procedures.
• Assist customers with account opening, onboarding, documentation, and other approved banking services.
• Resolve customer complaints and escalate complex issues to the appropriate team.
• Promote relevant banking products such as savings accounts, loans, cards, POS services, and digital banking solutions.
• Conduct customer follow-ups to ensure satisfaction and encourage continued use of banking services.
• Support customer acquisition and generate leads within assigned territories.
• Ensure all customer documentation is properly completed and submitted in line with bank procedures.
• Educate customers on digital banking channels and assist with basic registration or usage where applicable.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, leads, complaints, and field activities.
• Protect customer information and maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
• Meet assigned customer service, acquisition, and field activity targets.
• Work closely with branch and operations teams to ensure seamless customer service delivery.
• Comply with the bank’s policies, regulatory requirements, KYC procedures, and operational controls.
• Prepare and submit periodic reports on field activities and customer engagements.

Requirements

• Minimum of HND / Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good customer relationship management skills.
• Ability to work independently and spend significant time in the field.
• Strong persuasion, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities.
• Basic computer and digital literacy.
• Ability to meet targets and work under pressure.
• Good knowledge of the assigned territory or market is an added advantage.
