Job Title: Crusher Operator

Location: Libata, Ngaski LGA – Kebbi
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Crusher Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining mineral processing machinery and equipment such as jaw crusher machine, motors and, belt conveyors,to ensure optimal operation.
• The role includes welding, dismantling, installing motors, and producing non-standard parts such as pipes and brackets.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily operation of the Jaw crusher and carry out quick fixes as they arise.
• Carry out greasing and properly oiling tasks on machinery and equipment to maintain optimal functionality.
• Dismantle and install motors, ensuring proper alignment and performance.
• Work along the maintenance crew to fabricate non-standard parts such as pipes, brackets, and frames according to required specifications and measurements.
• Conduct inspections of equipment to detect wear and tear, and promptly call the attention of the maintenance team.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess HND / OND / B.Sc Degree in Production and Mechanical Engineering.
• Trade Test and Apprenticeship certificate training in Mechanical Sentience or Crusher (Jaw Crusher) Operation / Maintenance training are also encouraged to apply.
• The candidate must be comfortable with working in a mineral processing environment.
• Ability to lift about 30kg of dead weight on occasional basis.
• Basic knowledge of safety rules, signs and adherence accordingly.
• Ability to work onsite in potentially challenging environments .
• Open to work longer on shifts, longer hours and weekends to meet set production targets as the need might arise.

Salary
N100,000 – N170,000 monthly.
