Job Title: Credit Risk Officer

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Job Summary

• Nairapoint Finance Limited is looking for a sharp, analytical Credit Risk Officer to join our risk management team in Lagos. In this role, you will be the gatekeeper of our loan portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze loan applications from individuals and businesses to determine risk levels.
• Check financial statements, bank statements, and credit bureau reports to verify borrower information.
• Give professional recommendations to approve or decline loan requests based on credit policies.
• Monitor our active loan portfolio to spot early warning signs of non-payment or default.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports tracking loan portfolio performance, collections, and account status.

Requirements

• University degree or HND in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 2 to 4 years of experience as a Credit Analyst or Credit Risk Officer in a fintech, microfinance bank, or commercial bank.
• Strong skills in financial statement analysis, ratio analysis, and risk assessment.
• High attention to detail and good decision-making skills.
