Job Summary

• We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Credit Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for marketing daily loan products, registering and verifying clients, processing loan applications, disbursing approved loans, and ensuring timely daily loan collections.
• The ideal candidate should be customer-focused, target-driven, and able to work effectively in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Market the company’s daily loan products to prospective customers.
• Conduct field marketing, group sensitization, and one-on-one client engagement.
• Register new clients and ensure all required documentation is accurately completed.
• Explain loan terms, repayment schedules, and client obligations clearly.
• Conduct field verification of clients, businesses, and guarantors.
• Assess clients’ creditworthiness and prepare accurate verification reports.
• Process loan applications and prepare complete credit files for approval.
• Disburse approved loans in line with company policies.
• Carry out daily loan collections and maintain accurate repayment records.
• Follow up on overdue accounts and support loan recovery efforts.
• Maintain a healthy loan portfolio and achieve assigned registration, disbursement, and collection targets.
• Keep accurate client records and meeting schedules.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Credit Officer, Loan Officer, Field Officer, or in a similar role.
• Minimum of OND qualification (HND/B.Sc. is an added advantage).
• Strong marketing, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in the field and meet daily targets.
• Good record-keeping and organizational skills.
• Must be honest, responsible, and customer-oriented.
• Applicants residing in or around Sango Ota or Ifo will be given preference.

Salary
N100,000 / Month.
