Job Title: Corporate Retreat Supervisor

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Summary

  • The Corporate Retreat Supervisor is responsible for the on-site coordination and day-to-day operations of company offsites.
  • Your mission is to eliminate friction, allowing leadership and employees to focus entirely on their objectives—whether that’s strategic planning or team bonding.
  • You will oversee staff, manage vendor logistics, and act as the primary point of contact for all attendees.

Key Responsibilities
Logistics & On-Site Execution:

  • Venue Readiness: Conduct final walkthroughs of meeting spaces, ensuring AV equipment, seating arrangements, and “breakout” zones meet specific departmental needs.
  • Vendor Management: Supervise third-party vendors (catering, transportation, activity guides) to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Schedule Management: Act as the “internal clock,” moving groups between sessions and ensuring keynote speakers or facilitators start on time.

Team Leadership & Support:

  • Staff Supervision: Lead a small team of event assistants or temporary staff, delegating tasks such as registration, welcome bag distribution, and room resets.
  • Crisis Management: Serve as the first responder for any issues

Attendee Experience:

  • Hospitality: Oversee the “Check-in” experience and ensure personalized touches (welcome notes, swag) are delivered accurately.
  • Accessibility & Inclusion: Ensure the retreat environment is inclusive and accessible to all employees, coordinating specific accommodations as needed.

Post-Retreat Documentation:

  • Reporting: Track expenses against the budget in real-time and provide a post-event report on vendor performance and attendee feedback.
  • Asset Management: Ensure all company materials (laptops, banners, supplies) are packed, tracked, and returned to HQ.
