We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cook

Location: Mushin, Lagos

Key Roles and Responsibilities of a Cook
Food Preparation:

• Prepare and cook meals according to the hotel menu and recipes.
• Ensure food is well cooked, properly seasoned, and attractively presented.
• Kitchen Hygiene and Cleanliness
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times.
• Follow proper food safety and hygiene standards.

Stock and Ingredient Management:

• Check available food items and ingredients before cooking.
• Inform the kitchen supervisor or manager when items are running low.

Menu Compliance:

• Prepare meals according to the approved menu of the hotel.
• Ensure consistency in taste and quality of food served to guests.

Time Management:

• Prepare meals on time to avoid delays in serving guests.

Food Storage:

• Store food items properly in refrigerators or storage areas to prevent spoilage.

Waste Control:

• Avoid unnecessary food waste and manage portions properly.

Teamwork:

• Work with other kitchen staff such as kitchen assistants, stewards, and waiters to ensure smooth service.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications with experience.

Salary
N100,000 – N120,000 / month
