Green Concern for Development (GREENCODE) is a National registered NGO with CAC No: CAC/IT/NO 25643 and has been in operation for over 10 years. Our mission is to work with the poor and socially excluded people and government for the promotion of environmental and human rights protection in communities in Nigeria, aimed at poverty reduction through education, information sharing, research, training and direct impact interventions are in humanitarian emergency response and development, with physical presence in Borno, Yobe, Adamawa, Abuja, Cross River, Akwa Ibom States.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Consultant to Develop MEAL SOPs

Location: Maiduguri, Borno

Background

• Green Concern for Development (GREENCODE) isa national non-governmental organization registered in Nigeria since 2007 and implementing a range of humanitarian and developmental programs in different parts of Nigeria.
• GREENCODE programs are in the areas of Nutrition, Protection (GBV)/Sexual and Reproductive Health, WASH, Shelter/NFI/CCCM, Food Security/Livelihood, Accountable Governance, Environmental Management, andPeace Building.
• Arising from the Board and Management’s desire to build and improve the functioning of the organization to a national NGO of excellence, the BOT/MGT have agreed to hire the service of a Monitoring , Evaluation, Accountability and Learnin(MEAL)expert to strengthen the MEALfunction of the organization through developmentof the MEAL SOPs of the organization.
• The consultants will review past and present OCAT reports, interact with MEALteam to further identify gaps, propose and draft standard operating Procedures(SOPs) for the MEALunit, recommend and set upsoftware systems, templates etc.

Objectives
The primary objective of the MEALConsultant is to developGREENCODE’s MEALpolicy and provide strategic recommendations for improvement. The key objectives are:

• Conduct a comprehensive audit of the currentpractices, identifying areas for improvement or revision.
• Develop MEALmanual for the organization
• Ensure that policy complywith NGO best practices.
• DevelopSOPto reflect the organization’s values and objectives, promotingprofessional development, and organizational efficiency.
• Support the MEAL teamthrough training and capacity building for MEALstaff and managers.
