We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Compliance & Onboarding Specialist

Location: Lagos (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct onboarding reviews for individuals, merchants, agents, corporates & partners
• Perform KYC, KYB & enhanced due diligence (EDD)
• Verify ID documents, company records, beneficial ownership & source of funds
• Apply risk-based classification during onboarding
• Conduct sanctions screening, PEP checks & adverse media screening
• Escalate high-risk/suspicious cases to MLRO or Compliance Manager
• Implement compliance policies & onboarding standards
• Support internal/external compliance audits
• Perform onboarding risk assessments & recommend risk ratings
• Collaborate with Operations, Technology, Risk & CX teams
• Maintain onboarding records, compliance logs & periodic reports

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Finance, Business Admin, Accounting or related field
• 2–5 years’ experience in compliance, KYC/KYB, AML/CFT or onboarding
• DCP certification (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of KYC, KYB, AML/CFT, sanctions screening, PEP checks & EDD
• Strong attention to detail & analytical skills
• Good written & verbal communication skills

Added Advantage:

• Experience within fintech, banking, payments or other financial services

Salary
N250,000 – N400,000 monthly.
