We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Communication and Partnership Officer

Location: Gudu, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description:

The Communications and Partnership Officer would work directly with the Executive Director to promote the organisation, document institutional learning and build strategic partnerships. Specific responsibilities include the following:

Communications:

  • Design and implement communications and branding strategies for promoting the organisation.
  • Coordinate and guide team members responsible for various communications functions.
  • Collaborate with program teams to customise communication strategies for individual initiatives.
  • Create and share stories of impact.
  • Coordinate and prepare content for social media, newsletters, press releases, website and blogs.
  • Design and implement social media campaigns for different programs of the organisation.
  • Strengthen the organisation’s branding through various interventions, including but not limited to events, videos, website, and social media.

Partnership:

  • Build and strengthen strategic partnerships with relevant stakeholders, including but not limited to the government, private sector, NGOs, universities and development partners.
  • Coordinate fundraising through partnership development, grant writing and report writing
  • Create and manage documentation and database related to partnership development and external relations
  • Create and implement a strategy to build partnerships with media outfits.
  • Coordinate learning and networking sessions, including but not limited to webinars, panel discussions, and talk series.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree / HND qualification
  • Recent graduate and have completed NYSC
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a diverse, team-oriented remote and on-site environment
  • Strong motivation and time management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills in English
  • Excellent computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Salary:
N35,000 – N45,000
