Job Title: Communication Lead

Job Description

• In this role, you’ll be pivotal in facilitating engagement between members, stakeholders, and audiences while ensuring the timely and relevant dissemination of information.
• This position focuses on community and network management (80%) and communications and media management (20%).

Responsibilities

• Community and Network Management
• Collaborate to onboard new members into the community.
• Provide strategic input, navigate ecosystem dynamics, and support network initiatives.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for members, addressing inquiries and feedback.
• Organize and manage community events, including meetups and webinars.
• Monitor engagement metrics and implement strategies to enhance member participation.
• Work with leadership and operations teams to identify and address member needs.
• Communications and Media Management
• Share updates about activities, events, and programs via email, social media, and other platforms.
• Maintain a cohesive brand presence across channels in collaboration with the team.
• Manage social media, create content, respond to messages, and analyze performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in community or social media management.
• Proactive, dynamic problem solver with a positive entrepreneurial outlook.
• Strong interpersonal, mediation, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in onboarding systems and providing technical support.
• Skilled in project management within a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in event planning and management is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in managing social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram).
• Familiarity with tools like WhatsApp, Slack, and Google Suite.
