We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Commercial Transformation Manager (Project Manager), Ashluxe 

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview
Mission (why this role exists):

  • The Commercial Transformation Manager exists to rapidly establish and grow Ashluxe’s wholesale channel.
  • This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role with clear 90-day outcomes: stand up the wholesale function, inclusive of onboarding accounts and establishing the departmental pipeline, systems, and processes.
  • The role is offered on a three-month contract. Subject to performance, the Commercial Transformation Manager may be considered for a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities
Establish the Wholesale Channel (First 30 Days):

  • Audit the current commercial and wholesale state and define the channel strategy and target account list.
  • Set up operational foundations, including pricing and terms framework, order process, line sheets, and account onboarding.
  • Prioritise quick-win accounts and build an initial sales pipeline.

Drive Early Revenue & Stability (30–90 Days):

  • Secure and onboard initial wholesale accounts and open order books.
  • Deliver near-term revenue against agreed 90-day targets.
  • Stabilise commercial operations, reporting, and order fulfilment.

Build the Foundation to Scale:

  • Create the systems, processes, pipeline, and documentation the permanent commercial team will inherit.
  • Establish KPI tracking and a simple commercial dashboard covering revenue, sell-through, and pipeline.
  • Codify wholesale playbooks for onboarding, pricing, and account management.

Handover & Continuity:

  • Document learnings, account relationships, and pipeline for a clean handover.
  • Provide recommendations on channel strategy, resourcing, and priorities for the next phase.

Requirements
Key Requirements & Skills:

  • Strong commercial and wholesale experience, with comfort establishing a sales pipeline, owning targets, and managing accounts directly.
  • Demonstrated ability to stand up a function or channel quickly and deliver revenue under tight timelines.
  • Proven project management or transformation experience, ideally in commercial, wholesale, or retail settings.
  • Highly organised and self-directed, and effective amid ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Data-literate, able to build simple reporting and use data to drive decisions.
  • Available to start immediately on a three-month contract, and open to a permanent role based on performance.

Positioning:

  • Is: A hands-on, results-oriented operator brought in to build momentum quickly — establishing the wholesale channel, landing early wins, and creating the commercial foundation to scale.
  • Is NOT: A long-term figurehead or placeholder; this is a focused execution mandate measured against clear 90-day deliverables.
