Gas Tech International Limited is a Compressed and Natural Gas organisation situated along the Sagamu-Ore expressway in Ilisan, Ikenne local government area, Ogun State and recruiting for CNG Shift Supervisor role.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: CNG Shift Supervisor

Location: Ilisan, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time
Department: Operations
Reports to: Asst Plant Manager

Position Summary

  • The Shift Supervisor oversees the operations of a specific shift within the Facility ensuring the effective management of production and maintenance.
  • The shift supervisor acts as the first point of contact for shift personnel and plays a key role in operational continuity.
  • This role involves first-line maintenance of the compression equipment, ensuring smooth and efficient operations, and maintaining accurate records of gas received from the PRMS and compressed for dispatch.

Tasks and activities of the role

  • Operational Oversight: Continuous Improvement, Supervise and manage all gas compression activities during the shift.
  • Ensure the efficient operation of all compression equipment.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Maintenance: Perform first-line maintenance and troubleshooting of compression equipment.
  • Schedule and oversee regular maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of gas compressed and dispatched. Prepare and submit shift reports to the assistant plant manager.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety. and operational standards. Address and report any safety concerns immediately.
  • Team Management: Lead and supervise the shift team, providing guidance and support.
  • Conducts performance evaluations and provides feedback to team members. Ensure adequate staffing levels and manage shift schedules.
  • Communication and Reporting: Act as the primary liaison between management and shift staff communicating changes, updates and directives, prepare and submit shift reports detailing production metrics, and maintenance activities. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and safety.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
  • Certifications in CNG operations are advantageous.

Professional experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in an operations role, preferably in the CNG Industry or in the oil and gas.
  • Previous supervisory experience is required.
