We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cleaner

Locations: Umuahia – Abia & Asaba – Delta
Employment Type: Contract

General Position Summary

• The company will provide 2 personnel (cleaners) will be responsible for providing cleaning services as stated in the scope of work and 1 will be based in Abia and 1 in Delta. The cleaners who will work under the direct supervision of the Operation Assistant to ensure general outlook of the office space is maintained in each location.

The Duties are Outlined as follows

Supervisory Responsibility:

• None

Accountability

• Reports Directly To: Operation Assistant
• Works Directly With: Finance, Program and Operation teams.

Requirements, Knowledge and Experience

• SSCE Required.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience working experience in a Similar Role
• Ability to interact effectively with international and national personnel.
• Commitment to renewing and maintaining knowledge of best practices
• Strong interpersonal, and communication skills
• Fluency in English is required.
• Must be resident in either Abia or Delta State Understand the local context of both state.

Success Factors:

• The successful candidate will have a can-do attitude. Ideally, s/he will have previous experience in working in large-scale emergency programs in insecure and conflict-affected contexts, including remote management. S/he is a problem solver, who is adept in successfully dealing with issues of complexity. S/he is an active listener and contributor, working to create a strong team share ideas and learn. Conscientious with an excellent sense of judgment.
