Job Title: Cleaner

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Work Arrangement: Shift-based

Role Purpose

• To maintain a clean, hygienic and well-organised environment across designated areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain assigned offices, rooms, common areas, washrooms and other designated spaces.
• Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum and disinfect surfaces as required.
• Clean windows, furniture, fixtures and other facilities within assigned areas.
• Empty waste bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Maintain cleanliness of washrooms and replenish essential supplies when required.
• Use cleaning equipment and products safely and appropriately.
• Report damaged facilities, maintenance issues, shortages or health and safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good condition.
• Follow established cleaning schedules, hygiene standards and workplace safety procedures.
• Perform other reasonable cleaning and housekeeping duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a cleaner, housekeeper or in a similar role is an advantage.
• Good personal hygiene and attention to cleanliness.
• Reliable, responsible and punctual.
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work shifts, including weekends or public holidays where required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and able to perform routine cleaning duties.
