Role Overview

• The Civil and Structural Design Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the construction of civil and structural systems within oil and gas projects.
• The role involves ensuring technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and structural integrity in all design and execution phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and plan civil and structural systems for oil and gas facilities and related infrastructure.
• Conduct detailed site assessments and feasibility investigations to inform design decisions.
• Prepare, interpret, and review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Select and specify appropriate materials, construction techniques, and design parameters.
• Ensure all designs and construction activities comply with industry standards, engineering codes, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, and project engineers to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Support project execution through technical guidance, quality control, and design optimization.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor`s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Masters degree is an advantage).
• 3 – 7 years of proven experience in civil and structural design, preferably within the oil and gas sector.
• Experience in horizontal drilling for oil & gas projects is a plus.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of relevant industry codes, standards, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
