Job Title: Civil Engineer

Location: Obajana, Kogi

Job Summary

• Perform Civil Engineering duties in planning, and overseeing construction and Civil repairs of the Plant and colony, building structures, facilities

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Draw out an action plan for the execution of the job with quality and in a safe manner
• Costing of the civil work and putting up the approval prior to the job being taken up.
• Supervise the job and ensure quality of the job and timeliness of execution
• Ensure safe Work Practices are followed during the execution of the job.
• Ensure compliance to ISO 9001/14001/18001 systems
• All jobs to be carried out through the SAP PM Module
• Performance Appraisal of the subordinates and training needs for their development.
• Will carry out any jobs that may come up or as per the needs of the management

Requirements
Education and Work Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in Civil Engineering.
• Postgraduate/relevant professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of three years (3) years relevant work experience.

Skills and Competences:

• Good knowledge of Civil Engineering
• Good leadership and supervisory skills
• Good knowledge of Civil Engineering practices.
• Good problem solving and analytical skills
• Good relationship management and communication skills.
