Job Summary

• We are seeking a seasoned COO to lead our milling plant, driving operational excellence and business profitability.
• The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing end-to-end operations and delivering business growth.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence:

• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity in people, machineries and materials
• Drive optimization initiatives to improve yield, quality, and cost-effectiveness
• Manage maintenance, quality control, and logistics
• Business Growth and Profitability:
• Drive strategic planning and execution to achieve business goals
• Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Identify and mitigate financial risks.

Leadership and Team Management:

• Lead and develop a high-performing team
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Previous experience in creating, and running an Out-Grower Scheme (added advantage).

Required Skills and Experience

• Degree in Agriculture, Business, or related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in a senior management role in a rice milling
• Proven track record of driving operational excellence and business profitability
• Strong understanding of agricultural practices and supply chain management
• Financial management and planning skills
• Leadership and team management experience.
