Job Title: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Job Overview

  • We arer seeking to appoint an experienced and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to provide executive leadership across its operations and support the organisation’s continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight across the organisation’s day-to-day operations.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the organisation’s overall business objectives.
  • Drive operational efficiency, process improvement and service excellence.
  • Lead and manage senior teams across key business functions.
  • Establish effective systems, processes and performance standards across the organisation.
  • Monitor operational performance and implement strategies to improve productivity and profitability.
  • Identify operational risks and ensure appropriate controls and mitigation strategies are in place.
  • Work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team on business strategy and execution.
  • Build a high-performance organisational culture and strengthen cross-functional collaboration.
  • Translate the organisation’s strategic objectives into measurable operational plans and results.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
  • A postgraduate degree or relevant professional qualification will be an advantage
  • Proven experience in a senior operations or executive leadership role, preferably as a COO, Operations Director, General Manager or equivalent.
  • Strong track record of leading operations within a growing organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategy execution, process optimisation and organisational development.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent leadership, decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience managing senior-level and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.

Salary
N1 million / month net (negotiable).
