Federal Polytechnic, Monguno is a public polytechnic located in Monguno, Borno State. The Polytechnic was established in January 2021 by the Federal Government of Nigeria as the first federal polytechnic in Borno State. The establishment aimed to provide technical and vocational education in the region, addressing the lack of federal institutions in northeastern Nigeria. The polytechnic commenced with eight academic programs across three schools, offering courses in fields such as business administration, accountancy, agricultural science, and computer science.

Requirements

• A holder of a Doctorate Degree in the relevant field(s) from a recognised institution with at least 15 years of teaching/applied research/industrial work experience.
• The candidate must have a total of 13 conference/ seminar papers and 12 journal articles, and or nine meaningful chapter contributions in a standard textbook or two standard textbooks
• Candidates must show evidence of ability to initiate and supervise research work and must be registered members of a relevant professional body.
• Demonstrate ability to offer academic and administrative leadership.
• Evidence of continued research/invention/innovation in the area of specialisation.
• Evidence of community service.

General Requirements:

• All applicants must possess the required academic and professional qualifications for their desired positions.
• NYSC discharge or exemption certificate is mandatory.
• Applicants must be proficient in the use of ICT.
