Job Description

• We are seeking a CFO & Head of Strategy to join our Executive Management Team, driving financial leadership and our transformation into a digitally led microfinance institution.

Responsibilities
What you’ll do:

• Lead our 5-year strategic plan with focus on digital products, lending, and channels
• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, capital planning, and treasury/ALM
• Drive digital transformation — mobile banking, agent banking, fintech partnerships
• Manage risk, compliance (CBN, NDIC, IFRS), and portfolio quality
• Lead capital-raising with investors, lenders, and DFIs
• Build and lead a high-performing Finance & Strategy team

Requirements
What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
• ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent (mandatory); MBA/Master’s a plus
• 10–15 years’ experience, incl. 5+ in senior leadership (CFO/Head of Finance/Strategy) in microfinance, banking, or fintech
• Strong grasp of IFRS, CBN guidelines, BOFIA, and digital financial services
• Proven stakeholder management with Boards, regulators, and investors.
