Job Description

• On behalf of our client, we are looking for a capable and talented Chief Business Development Officer.
• As part of the executive Management Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of business development strategies to heighten company profitability.
• This includes leading the business growth and development effort, identifying business opportunities to pursue, and creating new business proposals to support their ideas.
• The Chief Business Development Officer’s main goal is to identify opportunities for business growth and create marketing strategies based on those opportunities in order to meet and exceed revenue goals.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing current and past projects, and providing strategies to review, reinvigorate and increase revenue and meet targets
• Leading the charge on market research plans to identify new opportunities
• Working with executive management team to implement marketing strategies and new opportunities
• Developing and pitching Business Case ideas for potential investors
• Encouraging new and existing clients by creating and improving proposals
• Tracking expenses and maintaining the company budget
• Ensuring that the company meets revenue targets
• Providing training and mentoring to other members of the team

Requirements

• 5 – 7 years of n experience in similar or relevant role with relevant professional, Technical and Management qualifications.
• Entrepreneurial Mindset and with functional business skills
• Demonstrable competency in Media Industry business development
• Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
• Strong business knowledge and experience interpreting financial data
• Ability to effectively research new markets
• Creativity and problem-solving skills
