Job Description

• A Chemistry Tutor helps students understand chemistry concepts, improve their academic performance, and develop problem-solving skills.
• They may work with high school, college, or even advanced learners preparing for exams or research.
• The role blends teaching, mentoring, and simplifying complex scientific ideas into digestible lessons.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tutoring sessions: Deliver one-on-one or group lessons tailored to student needs.
• Explain complex concepts: Break down topics like organic chemistry, stoichiometry, or thermodynamics into simple terms.
• Assist with homework and assignments: Guide students through problem sets without simply giving answers.
• Prepare students for exams: Offer practice questions, study strategies, and test-taking tips.
• Develop learning materials: Create notes, worksheets, and practice problems.
• Track student progress: Monitor performance and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
• Encourage curiosity: Foster interest in chemistry beyond the classroom.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a B.Sc / HND with 1 – 2 years experience.
