Job Description

• Researches, develops, synthesizes, and tests new drugs and existing formulations, ensuring quality, safety, and efficacy by designing experiments, analyzing compounds, maintaining detailed records, ensuring GMP compliance, and collaborating with other employees to bring medications from lab concept to patient-ready products, often specializing in areas like drug discovery, process scale-up, or quality control.

Key Responsibilities

• Drug Discovery & Development: Designing and synthesizing novel chemical compounds with potential therapeutic effects.
• Formulation & Optimization: Refining drug formulations for stability, effectiveness, and safety.
• Quality Control(QC): Developing and applying analytical methods to test raw materials, intermediates, and finished products, ensuring they meet strict standards.
• Process Chemistry: Scaling up lab processes for large-scale manufacturing and troubleshooting production issues.
• Analytical Testing: Performing experiments (qualitative & quantitative) to understand chemical properties, reactions, and interactions with biological systems.
• Documentation: Maintaining meticulous records of experiments, results, and procedures, and writing technical reports.
• Compliance: Ensuring all work adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory guidelines.
