Job Description

• We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Chef who specializes in Continental and local cuisine
• The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a deep understanding of the unique ingredients and cooking techniques associated with each cuisine.
• As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating innovative and flavorful dishes that delight our customers’ palates.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of both continental and local meals
• Develop and update menu offerings to reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
• Ensure that all food preparation and cooking processes adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Supervise kitchen staff and provide guidance and training as needed.
• Maintain inventory levels and order supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving food quality and efficiency.
• Monitor food costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising on quality.
• Handle customer inquiries and special requests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to continuously enhance menu offerings.

Qualifications

• Certification from a culinary school
• Proven experience as a Chef
• Extensive knowledge of ingredients, spices, and cooking techniques
• Strong culinary skills and creativity in menu development.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Attention to details and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.

Salary
N80,000 – N100,000 / month.
