La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort is focused on presenting African hospitality and culture in a cosmopolitan manner. About the Role

• We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chef to join our team in Ondo State. The ideal candidate should be creative, organized, and dedicated to delivering high-quality meals while ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen.
• Candidates with strong culinary skills and hands-on experience in food preparation are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for kitchen operations, meal planning, and food preparation.
• Create and update menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
• Oversee food quality, taste, and presentation.
• Ensure proper portion control and consistency in every dish served.
• Supervise kitchen staff and assign daily tasks for smooth workflow.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety within the kitchen.
• Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage stock rotation.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and internal kitchen policies.
• Manage food costs and minimize waste.
• Coordinate meal service during peak hours to ensure timely delivery.
• Perform any other culinary duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Culinary Arts or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a reputable restaurant, hotel, or resort.
• Strong knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment.
• Excellent leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle high-volume cooking.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• High level of personal hygiene and professionalism.
